Aylin Tezel is a German actress known for her role in the thriller 7500 (2019) alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt and for playing the main role in Unbroken (2021) a neooriginal miniseries about a young cop who has her baby stolen out of her belly and is determined to solve her own case.
Aylin Tezel had her breakthrough with main roles in Almanya: Welcome to Germany (2011) (Berlinale Competition) and Breaking Horizons (2012) for which she received the Best Actress Award at Torino Film Festival. She is further known for having played series lead regular role Nora Dalay in Germany's most popular police drama Tatort (1970) and for her regular role in the 3rd season of the Canadian CBC Spy-Series X Company (2015) where she played Jewish Polish resistance fighter Zosia, alongside Warren Brown. She was seen as lead role Heidi in Marco Kreuzpaintner's romantic comedy Coming In (2014) and has also filmed the lead role of Sabine in Robert Manson's Indie film Lost in the Living (2015). Recently she played the lead Mascha in Pola Beck's forthcoming feature Der Russe ist einer, der Birken liebt (2022).
Besides Acting Aylin Tezel directed the short documentary Trust me it works about British choreographer Royston Maldoom as well as the short film Tanz mit ihr (2013) which premiered at Cork Film Festival and aired on German- French TV Channel ARTE. She also wrote and directed the short film Phoenix (2020) starring Killian Scott, Brid Brennan and Leonie Benesch. She is preparing her directorial debut, the English language feature film Falling Into Place that will be produced by Weydemann Bros who recently earned themselves a lot of recognition with Nora Fingscheidt's film System Crasher (2019) which won awards at the Berlinale, the European Film Awards and was the German submission to the Oscars.- Director

- He grew up in middle-class circumstances as the son of a father from Ghana and a German mother. He made his debut in club sports at Holsen-Ahle from 1991 to 1995 before moving to Bünder SV until 1998. After finishing school, Odonkor concentrated on his football training. The move from Bünder SV to Borussia Dortmund in the 1998/99 season also meant his entry into the 2nd Bundesliga. After brilliant results, he was promoted to the 1st Bundesliga with Borussia for the 2001/02 season. In his first year at Dortmund, Odonkor won the 2001/02 German championship. Now the player has become one of the most popular kickers in the Bundesliga.
His quick start in particular made him an excellent attacking player. Odonkor manages the 100 meter sprint in 10.6 seconds. Meanwhile, Odonkor played 15 international matches with the German U21 national team, in which he continued to draw attention to himself. He made his first appearance in the senior national team on May 30, 2006 in the DFB team's friendly against Japan, in which Odonkor came on as a substitute in the 63rd minute. On May 15, 2006, David Odonkor was called up to the national team by national coach Jürgen Klinsmann for the World Cup in Germany. He celebrated his World Cup debut in the senior national team in the match between Germany and Costa Rica.
After the German national team won the World Cup on June 30, 2006 with a 5-3 victory. After reaching the semi-finals against Argentina, the team under captain Michael Ballack lost 0-2 goals in extra time against Italy on July 4, 2006. In the game for third place on July 8th in Stuttgart, the German team won 3-1 against Portugal. The triumph of the 2006 World Cup title went to Italy in the final on July 9th, to which France lost on penalties. In August 2006, Federal President Horst Köhler awarded the German national team the "Silver Laurel Leaf", the highest award that Germany can give to athletes.
